John is the founder of Bearded Bro Plumbing Co. and the guy you'll most likely find under a sink, in a crawlspace, or solving a plumbing problem that nobody else wanted to tackle.

After starting Bearded Bro Home Services in 2022, John transitioned the company into full-service plumbing, turning a passion for skilled trades into a growing family business built on honesty, craftsmanship, and dependable service. As a licensed Master Plumber, he serves homeowners and commercial clients throughout Southern and Central Maine with a straightforward approach: do quality work, communicate clearly, and treat people right.

As for the beard—it wasn't originally part of the business plan, but at some point it became recognizable enough that naming the company anything else would have felt dishonest. While the beard gets most of the attention, John insists it's only responsible for about 10% of the plumbing knowledge and significantly less of the paperwork.

John enjoys the challenge of solving problems, helping customers understand their options, and focuses on doing quality work. 

John is focused on growing the business, supporting the skilled trades, and building a legacy for his family and community. One of his biggest goals is to help create opportunities for future tradesmen through mentorship, education, and showing young people that a career in the trades can be both rewarding and meaningful.

 When he's not on a jobsite, John can usually be found living up to the Beard—cutting firewood, working in the woods, tackling another project around the homestead, or convincing himself that buying one more tool is a perfectly reasonable investment. He also loves to travel and all things outdoors, especially with his family.

  As the newest addition to Bearded Bro Plumbing Co., Baby Beard is currently serving as a pre-apprentice. His responsibilities include truck inspections, quality control of snacks, and making sure everyone stops working long enough to admire him.

Although he's still a few years away from turning wrenches, he's already learning the family business by attending meetings, observing jobsite operations, and perfecting the art of supervising from someone's arms.

His long-term career goals include following in Dad's footsteps, carrying tools that are much too big for him, and eventually reminding everyone that he was part of the company before he could even walk.

For now, he's focused on growing, learning, and keeping the future of Bearded Bro Plumbing Co. looking bright.

Meet Chester, the Chief Snack Officer at Bearded Bro Plumbing Co. He’s a beagle with one job—locating snacks—and he’s very committed to it.

Chester patrols job sites and the shop making sure no unattended lunch is left behind, and he takes quality control (especially bacon-related) very seriously. While he doesn’t fix pipes, he keeps morale high and snack standards even higher.

Meet Will, Chief Nap Officer. His main job is maintaining peak rest efficiency across the crew, specializing in high-quality naps, sudden sleep transitions, and strategic couch deployment.

Will loves walks and would happily accompany John on every plumbing call, toolbox in hand and tail wagging… but for now, he stays back at base keeping operations running smoothly (mostly by sleeping on the job… but in a professional way).

While he may not be out clearing drains or tightening fittings, he plays an essential role in the plumbing operation: keeping the energy up, the pace sustainable, and reminding everyone that rest is just as important as wrench time.
